THE ROLE AND DEVELOPMENT PROSPECTS OF THE TEXTILE INDUSTRY OF UZBEKISTAN IN THE NATIONAL ECONOMY

Abstract

After the independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, deep structural reforms were carried out in the national economy of the country. As a result of these reforms, sectors of the economy and industries reached a new level. In particular, the textile industry has become one of the leading sectors in Uzbekistan. The development of this sphere has a positive effect on the development of the national economy. Today, the textile industry plays an important role not only in providing the domestic market with quality products, but also in increasing the country's export potential, ensuring employment and creating new jobs.
