Abstract

It has been found that 55% of children aged 6-15 years with anomalies of the dentofacial system have gingivitis in certain groups of teeth. In orthodontic children and adolescents, the hygienic condition of the oral cavity worsens 1.5 times. The prevalence and intensity of caries in permanent teeth is 1.5-1.65 times higher than in children without dental anomalies. Based on this, the importance of the Imudon immunomodulator, which provides local stimulation of specific and non-specific protective mechanisms of the mucous membrane, is studied.
