Abstract

The article discusses the historical roots of the game of kopkari (uloz), its role in the life of the peoples of Central Asia and its significance as an ethnosport. Based on information from Mahmud Kashgari, Abulkasim Firdavsi and other sources, the rules of the game, social and educational tasks are analyzed. The role of the folk game of kopkari in the formation of such values as courage, perseverance, dexterity and honesty is shown
